Do I need special hardware?
No. Desk runs on the Windows PCs you already have. You install a small agent on each PC and manage everything from a browser.
Which versions of Windows work?
Windows 10 and Windows 11. The agent is a set of scheduled tasks, so there is no heavy background app.
What happens if the internet goes down?
PCs keep their last state. A locked PC stays locked and a running session keeps counting. They sync again when the connection returns.
Can you see my students or customers screens?
Only if you turn it on. Screen viewing is off by default, needs an explicit consent tick for the lab, and users are always notified while it is active.
How does remote control work?
